Foundation Day Celebration 13th April 2019

 

Chess & Carrom Board Competition

Chess and Carrom are the two most played and wonderful indoor games. Carrom is a table top game of South Asian origin. No matter if you win or lose, the most important thing in life is to enjoy the game. As electronic handled games, video games and computer hit the market, most of the board games were pushed aside at every home.

Keeping this in mind, Carrom and Chess competition was conducted in R.E.D. School, Jhajjar on 12th April, 2019 for the students of classes III to V.

The competition inspired the children to come out of the world of technology and enjoy the real game. It will increase their reasoning power, counting, reading, visual perception skills.

Mr. Neeraj judged children on various parameters provided. The results for the activity are mentioned below:

Note Book Covering and Table Mat Covering Competition

Notebook covering and table mat mapping competition is organised to highlight the hidden talent of the students. No matter if you win or lose, the most important thing in life is to enjoy the game. It is organised to encourage the student so that they can maintain their notebook properly.

Keeping this in mind, Notebook covering and Table mat Making competition was conducted in R.E.D. School, Jhajjar on 19th April, 2019 for the class Nursery to V.

The Competition inspired the children to come out of their hidden talent. It will increase their visual perception skills. Mr. Vijay and Mrs. Jyoti Hooda judged children on various parameters provided. The result for the activity are mentioned below:

Scribbling and colouring

Colouring competition on 12th Apri, 2019 for (Nur. to II) category. Every children showcased their creative skills in colouring and the result was amazing at work. This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation by all students. Colouring helps in self expression, colour recognition, building motor skill, grip control, coordination, focus and boundaries. The students proved that creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing and learning for them. The result are like in Nursery class 1st Avi, 2nd Aradhya and 3rd Navya. In K.G. class 1st is Lakshu, 2nd is Mannat and 3rd are Raayana and Aaditya. In class-I, 1st are Palak & Aarav, 2nd are Amandeep, Areeb & Samayak and 3rd are Yashika, Daksh Gulia & Saksham. In class-II, 1st are Sarthak & Sejal, 2nd are Manit & Manvi and 3rd are Alakh & Vanshika.

 
 

Inter House English Debate Competition

R.E.D School, Jhajjar organised an Inter House Debate Competition on 10th May, 2019 (Friday). In order to motivate the students to overcome their stage fear and to showcase their talent R.E.D. School organized an Inter House Debate Competition. There were two students from each house who spoke for and against the motion on the topic “Are elections good for democracy?” Unity House bagged the first position, Equality House got second position, Peace House won the third position. All students participated with enthusiasm.

Ultimately, this was a victory for all students in attendance. The day demonstrated the necessity of debate on key issues and how crucial it is to face the ability to be a strong public speaker.

 

Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made. In the honor of Earth day, R.E.D. School, Jhajjar organised programme. Speech and poem recitation were included in this. It was a great opportunity to recommit and strive to do a better job in relation to environment.

“The earth will not continue to offer

Its harvest, except with faithful

Stewardship we cannot say we love

The land and then take steps to

Destroy it for use by future generation.”

The speech and poem encouraged to appreciate the natural world and to take part in environment friendly activities such as planting a tree, or sharing a car. On the occasion of Earth Day, the most serious environment related issues such as pollution, global warming, climate change, acid rain, ozone layer depletion were discussed. The main aim was to bring a visible change if we all choose to make actions towards a green word. Celebrating Earth Day brings the students as well as teachers closer to earth. They were directly or indirectly initiated into the responsibility they have towards earth.

 

Inter House Fancy Dress Comp

R.E.D. School, Jhajjar organized the Fancy Dress Competition for class Nur to V on May 21, 2019 on the theme of ‘Famous leaders and personalities’. It is always a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as different characters and stuttering away in their speech. Competitions such as Fancy Dress are not only restricted to the students but also extend to the parents, the efforts made and the interest taken by the parents was evident in the costumes of the children.

The students came forward displaying their vibrant costumes. They were beautifully dressed as Prime Minister Modi, Sakhi Malik, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitly, Fairies, Doctor, Beautiful doll, army man and many more. The competition brought an amiable ambience and the judges retorted with their applause. It was indeed a mesmerizing event which would be etched in our memory for a very long time. At last results were announced. Equality house topped in the competition followed by Peace and Freedom house.

 

General Awareness Competition

On 17th May 2019 Inter House General Awareness competition was held on the topic Structure of Earth human body and constitution of India. It was organized by Social Environment club. The objective of this competition was to aware children about Indian constitution, and human body. So that they about our constitution and laws of our country and about our body etc.
Children from category VI-VII participated in the competition. They displayed their knowledge by giving answers in various rounds of the competition. There were three participants from each house. It was a wonderful quiz. All teams gave their best.
At least results were announced. Equality house topped the result. Unity house was the 1st runner up followed by Freedom house.

 

Inter House Hindi Poem Recitation Competition

"Poem recitation is an art of expression and helps in expanding the vocabulary of the little ones. It enables the students to explore inner talents and also builds confidence."

Keeping this in mind and to enhance the holistic growth of our children, Hindi Poem Recitation activity was conducted in R.E.D. School, Jhajjar on 24th May, 2019 for the students of classes III to V on the topics “Nature, Patriotism and Mother”. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. Students were judged on parameters like content, message, fluency and pronunciation. Mrs. Anju Mittal and Mrs. Jyoti Hooda judged children on various parameters provided. The results for the activity are mentioned below:

Investiture Ceremony

"Leadership is not about one person it is about all of us- the students, the faculty, the staff, the alumni. We are what, leadership is about."

Keeping up with this thought, R.E.D. School Jhajjar celebrated its 18th Foundation Day along with Investiture Ceremony and Prize Distribution on 28th April 2019.

The chief guest Mr. Jitender Singh Ahlawat ji appreciated the efforts of the Principal, Staff and students and encouraged them to achieve the ultimate aim and do their best in all their future endeavors.

The four houses – Freedom, Unity, Equality and Peace participat in march past. All the newly elected members-Head Boy (Manish–XII-B) and Head Girl (Deepali–XII-A) alongwith all House Captains, Vice Captains, Cultural Captains, Sports Captains and Prefects for the session 2019-20 took pledge to devote the best of their ability knowledge, power, duty and discipline in accordance to the vision and quest for their wisdom. The event ended with a note of positivity and willingness, with the Prefects promising to do their best in whichever way they can. They were ready to encounter the challenges that would come on their way & would work upon their weaknesses as well. In this way, the Investiture Ceremony concluded with lot of hopes & aspirations for our future leaders & it was a great success with the participation of all our students.

Along with it this ceremony Prize Distribution function was also organized. The students with hundred percent attendance were awarded with Certificate of Excellence, participants of V.V.M (district, state and national level) were given prizes. The students of 10th grade with 95% marks were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1100 and district level topper of 10th Ms. Chanchal and 12th Ms. Khushboo were given a cash prize of Rs 5100. The students who got selected in government colleges of NIIT and IIT received a cash prize of Rs 11000. The winners of District and State Level Sports Competitions like Table Tennis, Badminton, Boxing, Swimming were given certificates. A cash prize of Rs 3,15,000 was distributed on this occasion.

 
 
 

Inter House Badminton Competition

To encourage sporting spirit among students Inter House Badminton competition was organized at R.E.D. School, Jhajjar campus on 12th July, 2019. It was conducted in category (VI-X) and all four houses participated with full zeal and all the students gave their 100% in the competition. It has been observed that all the competitions were conducted with keen interest during the above championship and the results are as mentioned below:

Principal at R.E.D. School, Jhajjar congratulated the winner and motivated students to participate in games and improve their physical and mental health and also praise the way they conducted/organised the championship.

 

Inter house English Poem Recitation competition

Inter house English Poem Recitation competition was organized on 12th July at R.E.D. School for Primary wing. Beauty is the realm of poetry. Children enjoy the beauty of expression thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words. Taking all there facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage.

The children come up with different poems on the topic patriotism and nature and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm. The final judgment was made by Ms. Anita and Ms. Preeti students were judged to an parameters like confidence voice modulation and overall presentation. Freedom house secured 1st, Unity house 2nd and Peace house got 3rd position.

The judges appreciated the performance of the participants and the feeling of patriotism nature filled the air with love and respect for our mother land and nature.

 

Inter House Hindi Declamation Competition

On 12th July, 2019 Inter House Hindi Speech Competition was organized in R.E.D. School, Jhajjar. This competition was for classes VI to VIII. Its main aim was to increase their confidence & make them able to express their views boldly & freely.

The participants expressed their views on the topics ‘Students and Discipline’ and ‘Modern Education System’. All the participants took part in it with great enthusiasm and showed their hidden talent.

At the end of this competition, the Principal, Mrs. Renu Aneja congratulated all the students and encouraged them by saying that in such activities there is development of Freedom for expressing views & reading skills are also developed.

Perfect reading, continuity of speech and their expressions were appreciated.

The competition was judged by Mrs. Urmila and Mrs. Aruna, First position was bagged by Freedom house, Second position was bagged by Unity house and the third position was bagged by peace house
